Version 1.0
First release: Orb 1.0 Draft
Orb
The first public version of Orb: a voice assistant with a face for Windows that thinks with the AI subscription you may already have and does real things on your computer.
What’s in it
- NewSay “Hey Orb”, click it, or press a shortcut, and talk. It answers out loud, keeps listening for a few seconds so you can just reply, and learns how you say “Hey Orb”.
- NewThinks with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini through their own official apps: no API keys and nothing extra to pay.
- NewInstant commands on your computer in under a second: the time, battery, volume, brightness, music, lock, screenshots, timers, opening apps and Google search.
- NewAround 70 tools through an AI: YouTube, windows, websites, settings by voice, and clicking and typing in apps. Power actions always ask first.
- NewFiles: finds and opens what you name, flies over and points at it, answers questions about your documents and tidies a folder.
- NewWriting: fix my text in any app, dictation, reply like me (it never sends by itself) and what did I miss.
- NewSees your screen when you ask, with circle to ask, draw to teach and “show me how” walkthroughs.
- NewMemory, a diary, reminders, routines, tell me when, lists, snippets and clipboard history.
- NewBackground research reports with sources, and ask all three: Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini answer at once.
- NewPrivate mode, do not disturb, shortcuts for everything, the command center and a phone remote.
